ART IN COIN

As I begin my 50th year, Art in Coin has been a presence at a variety of art shows in the tri-state area, primarily in New Jersey. 

We rarely think of coins as works of art.  By creating negative space in metal, I am able to take foreign coins and sculpture very delicate and beautiful visual artwork. My primary tool is a jeweler’s saw (coping saw).  These pieces are worn primarily as pendants and earrings, but they can also be created into other types of jewelry such as tie tacks, cuff links, key rings, charms.  Many of my designs are also cast in 14K gold. I can also work together with you to create and develop new ideas from any coin.
