Susan began selling original watercolors, oil paintings, custom stationery and gift tags made from her art in August 2021, but she has been drawing and painting her whole life. She was always drawing while growing up and frequently had a sketchbook nearby. Susan loves nature and enjoys painting landscapes and still lifes ~ especially pears and lemons. She lives a few miles from the beach and even closer to beautiful creeks and marshes, which appear in many of her paintings. Susan loves making calming, beautiful pieces of art and hopes they bring beauty, calm, peace and joy to others whether through a small painting or a pretty notecard. Susan was a featured artist in April 2026 at The Estuary Art Show "Wonder" in Fair Haven. In addition to Fresh Markets, Susan sells her cards and paintings at local gift shops and also donates some pieces to charities for auction fundraisers.
